Eu-Grits are recognised by surface treatment professionals as very effective &#8220;soft&#8221; abrasives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Uses<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Vibratory finishing: the cob is used as a mild abrasive to dry, clean and polish soft\nmetals. The natural honeycomb structure of the corn cob makes it highly\nabsorbent, allowing it to clean detergent residues left on metal parts after\ntreatment. Its hardness, equal to iron, results in an exceptional polished\nfinish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Blast cleaning:\nthe vegetable alternative for polishing, scouring and cleaning. Unlike\ncompetitors such as walnut shells, corn cob does not burst and is resistant to\nattrition, allowing the high-performance product to be recycled. The abrasive\ncorn cob absorbs shocks better and generates less dust.
